Welcome to the all new [aaronhibben.com]. I am currently a freelance graphic artist/ web designer/programmer out of Waterloo, Iowa. I graduated from Hawkeye Community College in 2008 with an AAS in Web Design & Development. The reason people like me have jobs is because there is a constant need for all kinds of businesses to put themselves out there for everyone to see by way of the "information super highway".
I'm going to welcome you by telling a little story. The story begins with an entrepreneur. We'll call him Joe. Well, Joe owns a small jewelry store called "The Diamond Store". He sits in his office one day and begins thinking to himself. He says: "We have steady business, lots of repeat customers, but it could be better." Well, since Joe's business is located in the middle of Small Town, Iowa, his primary business comes through word of mouth. He begins to wonder how he can promote his business even more. Joe always hears of entrepreneurs like himself who achieve huge success from online sales/promotion.
That's where I come in. You see, many potential long distance clients may be in different time zones, or perhaps even different countries in some cases -- or maybe they'd just rather not make a long distance call. It's because of these kinds of factors, that the Internet is where they would go for more information. Having a website enables your information to be available anytime.
Your website allows you to create and show much more of your information than a print ad or brochure. The more information you provide, the more likely a potential client will be to buy from you as they can see everything they need to know. This allows people of all walks of life, regardless of location to see what places like "The Diamond Store" has to offer.
